The four-day Agroecology training programme combined learning sessions, field visits to Direct Ferme, Mama Ghaia, La Pause des Bergers – Domaine Toumliline and Coopérative Tifrit, and a visit to SIAM in Meknès. Participants connected tools such as B-ACT with real-world agroecological practices, strengthening their technical knowledge and hands-on understanding of agroecological transition and sustainable agricultural finance.

The programme also created space for dialogue and experience sharing among participating financial institutions. A key milestone was the signing of a Letter of Intent between IFAD and Crédit Agricole du Maroc, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing sustainable agricultural finance across Africa. In the face of climate change and growing agricultural challenges, agroecology offers a practical pathway toward more resilient and sustainable food systems.
