Help Shape the Future of Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development 

The Agricultural Public Development Banks (PDBs) Platform, hosted by IFAD, is launching a new survey to hear directly from Public Development Banks like yours. We aim to better understand your evolving needs and priorities as we collectively transition toward more sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient agriculture. 

💬 Why Your Input Matters

Insights from the previous survey directly shaped our actions. Based on your feedback, we launched working groups on climate change adaptation (56%), financial inclusion (47%), and agroecological transition (38%), and are preparing a session on financing sustainable value chains (44%). We also delivered targeted initiatives on environmental impact measurement (e.g., training on the ABC Map with FAO) and taxonomy for green finance (e.g., sessions on sustainable bonds, and upcoming discussions on insurance). 

We were pleased to see: 

• 90% attendance in working groups 

• 87% of respondents interested in peer-to-peer exchange 

• 76% found our tools and ideas relevant 

However, only 38% experienced actual peer exchanges, showing the need to better connect PDBs through targeted networking.
