“Exploring the Role of Agricultural Insurance
in Inclusive Rural Transformation’’
The Agri-PDB Platform, in partnership with IFAD and UNDP, is pleased to invite you to the second session of our Rural Financial Inclusion Working Group a space for dialogue, collaboration, and action among agricultural public development banks (Agri-PDBs) and their partners.
This session will focus on the strategic role of agricultural insurance as a catalyst for expanding financial inclusion in rural areas. Far beyond risk mitigation, agricultural insurance can unlock investment, enhance credit access, and improve resilience for smallholder farmers and agri-SMEs particularly women and first-time borrowers.
